Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised, you’ve been the victim of identity theft or if you receive a communication from UL Federal Credit Union that appears suspicious.

Tips to Minimize the Risk of Fraud

Update Your Account Contact Information
When we notice suspicious activity, we often attempt to reach you via phone. Update your account with any changes to your phone numbers, email and physical address. Log into Online Banking and select the Personal Information gear icon.

Monitor Your Accounts
Schedule our update your Account Alerts for your savings, checking, loan, and credit card accounts. This free service gives you the ability to receive text or email alerts based on transactions, balance limits and more.

For savings, checking, and loan accounts: Log into Online Banking and select Self Service.
For credit cards: Log into Credit Card Account Alerts.

Notify Us Before You Travel
Debit Cards
Tell us when you plan to travel out of state or out of the country. Our debit cards are automatically blocked from being used outside of the United States. However, you can request to have the block removed if you are traveling outside of the United States or making an international purchase using your debit card. Call us at 337-482-6956 or toll free 1-800-232-9616 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday excluding holidays).

Credit Cards
For your account security, UL Federal Credit Union credit cards are automatically blocked from being used outside of the United States. Contact us before you travel to avoid issues using your card.
