  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete enrollment.
  3. Enroll in additional tools within Online Banking including eStatements and more.

With the free ULFCU Mobile App, you can transfer funds, locate nearby branches, make mobile deposits and pay loans anytime, using your smartphone. Securely login with the same user ID, password, and security prompts you use for your Online Banking account.

Mobile Deposits

Deposit checks in a snap. Coming soon!

Skip the branch visit to deposit a check. Mobile Deposit allows you to deposit checks into your savings or checking account using the ULFCU mobile app on your Android or iPhone.

How it Works

Use the camera on your mobile device to snap pictures of your check and request it be deposited into your ULFCU savings or checking account.

  • Your mobile deposits are usually available the next business day. Some checks may be held longer. 
  • If you make a deposit after 3 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, and any time on Saturdays, Sundays or ULFCU holidays, it will be processed the next business day and made available based on the status of your account. Business days are Monday through Friday except for ULFCU holidays.  
  • All deposits are pending until reviewed

How to Mobile Deposit a Check

  1. Endorse the back of the check with your signature AND “For mobile deposit only at ULFCU”
  2. Login to the ULFCU mobile app.
  3. Tap Deposit on the bottom menu.
  4. Tap Deposit Check.
  5. Select the account where you want the check deposited.
  6. Capture the check image, front and back.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your deposit request.
  8. Keep your paper check for at least 60 days.

Mobile Deposit Limits

  • $1,000 maximum per check
  • $1,000 maximum per day

Items Not Accepted for Mobile Deposit

  • Checks or items payable to any person or entity other than you.
  • Checks or items drawn or otherwise issued by you or any other person on any of your accounts or any account on which you are an authorized signer or joint account holder.
  • Checks or items containing obvious alteration to any of the fields on the front of the check or item, or which you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check or item is drawn.
  • Checks or items previously converted to a substitute check.
  • Checks or items drawn on a financial institution located outside the United States.
  • Checks or items that are remotely created checks.
  • Checks or items not payable in United States currency.
  • Checks or items dated more than 6 months prior to the date of deposit.

Bill Pay

Upgrade the way you pay.

Tired of remembering usernames and passwords for every bill you want to pay online? Pay bills from your Online Banking account instead using our Bill Pay feature. It’s a great way to manage all of your bills from one place, with one password. 

How it Works

Automatically set up one-time or recurring payments from your checking account for the dates and amounts you desire. You can pay anyone, including an individual so long as they have a complete postal address. You can then make a payment or manage your scheduled payments in Online Banking using your computer or our mobile app. Please allow 7 to 10 days for your initial payment to be credited to your account and 2 to 5 days for subsequent payments using Bill Pay. 

Note: UL Federal Credit Union loan payments should be made using the transfer option in Online Banking, not Bill Pay.

Getting Started

  1. Call us at (337) 482-6956 or visit a branch to add Bill Pay to your Online Banking.
  2. Login to Online Banking from a computer.
  3. Select the Pay It tab to set up your payees (a company or an individual), billing information, how much to pay and when to pay it, and payment amounts.
  4. We’ll make your payments by check or electronic transfer, depending on what your vendor accepts.

eStatements

Go paperless.

View your statement online instead of receiving it in your mailbox.1

How it Works

  • Receive your statement sooner – typically the the first business day after month-end
  • View 6 months of statement history
  • Download electronic PDF copies
  • You’ll receive an email when your statement is ready for viewing

Getting Started

  1. Log into Online Banking.
  2. Select Self Service from the main navigation.
  3. Under the Additional Services section, select eStatements and follow the instructions to complete enrollment.
  4. Remember to log into Online Banking to update your email address anytime it changes.

1When enrolled in ULFCU eStatement service, ULFCU will send a notification through email when an eStatement is available. eStatements are kept for a maximum of 6 months online and must be accessed through Virtual Branch. A $5 fee is assessed each month for email addresses that are incorrect. It is the member’s responsibility to notify the credit union of valid email addresses.

Text Banking

Fast access to your balance and transaction history.

Text banking is a free service which allows you to quickly request and receive account information via text message including account balances and transaction history.

How it Works

You can enroll in Text Banking through Online Banking. Then you will be able to text short commands to us at 87431 to receive account information on your enrolled mobile device. 

Getting Started

  1. Log into Online Banking from a computer. If you have not registered for Online Banking, you will need to complete the registration.
  2. Make sure to have your mobile phone with you.
  3. Select Self Service from the main navigation.
  4. Under the Additional Services section, select Mobile Money and follow the on-screen activation instructions to add Text Banking to your mobile phone including assigning nicknames to your accounts.
  5. We will send you a text message from 87431 with an activation code. You must enter this activation code in Online Banking to activate Text Banking. 

Text Commands

After enrollment is complete, text any of the following commands to ULFCU at 87431.

  • B, BAL, BALANCE or BALANCES = fetch a list of all your enrolled accounts, their nicknames and their balances
  • STMT account nickname, TRAN account information or HIST account nickname = fetch the most recent transactions for a specific account (Example: TRAN SAV1) 
  • NEXT or MORE = View additional recent transactions on the account nickname you specified
  • STOP = deactivate the service

Helpful Tips

  • Add 87431 to your contacts on your mobile device
  • Text messages are not case sensitive

Account Alerts

Get notifications from your account.

Setup your account alert preferences through Online Banking. You can choose to receive email or both email and text message alerts about key account information. Want to know when your account balance is lower than a specific dollar amount? Just set up a Balance Alert.1

Alert Options

Select from a variety of alert options to monitor your accounts including:

  • Balance Alert above or below your specified dollar amount
  • Deposit exceeds your specified dollar amount
  • ATM/Debit, check, or other withdrawal exceeds your specified dollar amount
  • A specific check # or range of #s has cleared
  • Certificate maturity 
  • Loan payment due or payment past due
  • Periodic balance
