Membership Eligibility
We serve anyone who is eligible through the following affiliations with University of Louisiana at Lafayette and South Louisiana Community College, and family members.
University of Louisiana at Lafayette faculty, staff, current students, and alumni.
South Louisiana Community College faculty, staff and current students.
Immediate family members of existing UL Federal Credit Union members including children (including adopted and stepchildren), siblings, parents, grandparents and grandchildren.
UL Lafayette Alumni Association Donor: If you are not eligible to join UL Federal Credit Union through these associated groups or affiliations, you may be eligible for membership by becoming a UL Lafayette Alumni Association Donor with a one-time gift to the Alumni Association Loyalty Fund. Open your savings account and begin your membership online, or visit a branch.
You will need the following:
Valid government-issued driver’s license or ID
Opening deposit of at least $10 ($5 minimum deposit and a $5 one-time membership fee / share value. This share must remain on deposit for the duration of your membership.)
Proof of membership eligibility (valid University of Louisiana at Lafayette or South Louisiana Community College staff or student ID, if applicable)
For youth accounts (age 0-17), a parent or guardian account co-owner is required. Please visit a branch to open an account.
Disclosures: You must meet eligibility requirements for a UL Federal Credit Union membership. All accounts are subject to approval. Refer to the UL Federal Credit Union Membership Agreement and Truth-In-Savings Disclosure.
